Pilot Training
AirSmart pilots are highly qualified and experienced. Each pilot undergoes rigorous and ongoing training. Each captain attends training at FlightSafety or SimCom. For extra safety, each captain is rechecked every six months, undergoes comprehensive ground training, and emergency procedures. All pilots are held to the highest FAA standards of Part 135.

ARGUS represents the highest level of safety standards in the aviation operator community. As an ARGUS Gold member, we adhere to an internationally recognized standard, are continuously monitored for the best practices and the highest level of training and safety.
The Pilatus’ line of aircraft utilizes one of the world’s most cutting-edge multi-function display avionics suites–the Honeywell ACE (Advanced Cockpit Environment) Avionics Suite. Our fleet employs these state-of-the-art avionics systems offering that of a high-end business jet and includes autopilot for optimized stability, SmartView synthetic vision with performance-based HUD symbology, traffic collision and terrain avoidance system. The Pilatus aircraft are efficiently and intuitively designed and certified for single-pilot operations, even though we most often fly with two pilots. The cockpit has been designed to reduce workload and improve safety while providing full situational awareness under all circumstances.
